After almost two months, the rest of my belongings arrived from New York.

Alex helped me drop off everything in the middle of August at a warehouse in New Jersey.
From there everything ended up on a cargo ship which went through the panama canal, made
a stop in LA and then headed straight for Tokyo. I learned that if you have the call
sign you can track your ship and container online. From New York to Tokyo it took about
3 weeks. The rest of the time was waiting on loading, unloading, moving, etc.

I made the Tokyo pickup myself in a mini-truck. Here are a few photos of the experience.

The entire process took about 4 hours. First you pay the warehouse and get some paperwork.
Next its off to the customs house to get permission to remove your stuff from the warehouse.
Then back to customs for an inspection and off you go! I was impressed by how smoothly
everything proceeded. Thanks to Shima unloading everything was a breeze (thankfully they
fork-lifted the parcels onto the truck for me, something I learned from the trip with Alex).
Ithai's awesome picture made it in perfect shape, as did everything else. Phew.
Now I just have to make everything _fit_.

Back in Tokyo!! Open for business.

I'm still waiting on most of my office stuff (sewing machine,
fabrics, etc.) which is being shipped by sea and should arrive
mid-October. Time to get busy. If you're in Tokyo, I'm around here:
